These works are inspired and informed by Adrian's work maintaining and constructing walking tracks through the boulder-fields and bushland of kunanyi/Mt Wellington.
The painterly blurring of burnt-umber and ash-grey-white boulders and impasto gestures of wind affected tree trunks evoke the tactile experience of someone navigating their way through the shifting boulder-fields of kunanyi.
